Carryduff to Remain Part of AG’s Wider Family

We wish to announce that the sale process has now ended for Carryduff and that the unit will not be sold. It has been taken off the market and will now remain part of the wider AG family.

Our business has continued to trade profitably this year despite the challenges posed by the pandemic. We are in the fortunate position of being able to invest in growing our business, as evidenced recently by us recruiting night shifts in Fivemiletown and Toome and placing orders for new production plant in Fivemiletown.

Although we wanted to explore whether the unit would be attractive to potential purchasers, we now believe that it should remain a key part of our service offer into the future. With the decision now made to retain Carryduff, we will invest in a sales team dedicated solely to selling Civils products.

We will invest in marketing and further establishing AG as a leading supplier of Civils products. We will recommence new product development projects which were paused while the sales process took place. We will immediately proceed with recruiting new general operatives to increase our production capacity.

We look forward to Carryduff remaining a key part of the AG business and seeing it prosper into the future.
