Location: Dungannon

Hours of work: 9.00am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday

Main Purpose

To act as first point of contact for customers providing an efficient, prompt and professional telephonist and reception service in our Dungannon offices which act as an Outside Room Showroom and Sales & Marketing Headquarters.

 

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Act as the first point of contact for dealing with customer queries and the general public on a face to face basis and over the telephone.
  2. Managing and operating the switchboard and associated duties including efficient relaying of messages.
  3. Providing support to Outside Room’s sales.
  4. Merchandising and replenishing literature on a daily basis in the Outside Room show area. This includes managing signage of products on display.
  5. Marketing administration when required, to include posting of literature requests to customers.
  6. Managing all outgoing post and open, sort and distribute incoming post.
  7. Ordering stationery and maintaining stationery store.
  8. Organising travel and accommodation for sales employees including booking flights, hotels, car hire, etc
  9. General administration duties including word processing and data input. Ensuring and maintaining confidentiality of information.
  10. Assisting with the co-ordination of catering arrangements for any meetings
  11. Co-operation with management and other staff to ensure efficient promotion and running of the business.
  12. Any other duties as required by Management commensurate with the role and within skills and capabilities.

  • 5 GCSE’s or equivalent at Grade C or above including English and Maths
  • Proficient in MS Office with experience of IT Systems
  • Previous experience of dealing with a wide customer profile including the general public.
  • One year’s reception/ switchboard experience
