A renovation project transformed into a beautiful outdoor haven. Designed for relaxing, entertaining and enjoying the space all year round.

When this family first took on their home, it was an old house in need of significant work. Built back up from almost nothing, the property has been carefully transformed into a beautiful home, inside and out.

As part of the renovation, the customer had a clear vision for the garden. They wanted to create an outdoor space that felt calm, practical and welcoming. Somewhere the family could relax, enjoy time together and make the most of their surroundings.

To help bring that vision to life, AG’s Landscape Designer Ronan O’Dowd, provided a full garden design tailored to the home, the family and the way they wanted to use the space. The customer was delighted with Ronan’s skill and helpfulness throughout the process, guiding the design and helping turn ideas into the perfect space.

A carefully selected mix of AG products was used to create texture, contrast and flow throughout the garden.

TerraPave® Flagstones in Rimini Ground, form the main seating areas and pathways towards the rear of the property. Their distinctive colour blend is created through the careful selection of granite aggregates rather than surface pigments, providing lasting colour confidence. Enhanced with Enduur 1 concrete technology, the flagstones also offer increased protection against moss and algae staining, making them a practical, relatively low-maintenance choice.

Plaza Quattro Paving in Lakrids frames the flagstones throughout the exterior, creating a defined border and tying the different areas together. Long Stone Paving in fiammata, introduces further contrast and has been used to establish a relaxed ‘chill zone’ within the garden.

Mile Stone Kerb Units in Slate provide clean, structured borders around the soft landscaping and planting areas. At the front of the property, Plaza Paving in Salt creates a crisp contrast against the tarmac, clearly defining the pedestrian walkway around the home.

The result is a considered outdoor space that complements the character of the home while giving the family a place to unwind and enjoy. It is also the perfect garden for their beautiful dog, Maisie, who now has plenty of space to explore.
