AG Demonstrates Continued Charity Commitment to Air Ambulance NI with £26,939.76 Fundraising Effort

AG proudly continued its support of Air Ambulance Northern Ireland, nominating the organisation as the company’s official charity partner in 2023. Building upon a successful partnership initiated in 2020, AG has collectively raised an impressive £26,939.76 for the registered charity. Showcasing the unwavering commitment of AG’s staff and customers to the wellbeing of the Northern Ireland community.

Selected through companywide polls as AG’s official charity partner in 2020, 2021, and 2023, Air Ambulance Northern Ireland recently received a donation of £8612.98 derived from AG’s continued fundraising efforts over last year. This substantial sum was successfully raised through a range of innovative and engaging activities held throughout 2023. Notable events included a Christmas raffle with generous prizes such as staycation vouchers and fitness challenges like the Belfast Marathon. Additionally, AG encouraged suppliers, partners and customers to donate at various occasions throughout the year, including their annual Outdoor Living Shows and Corporate Golf Day, further contributing to the charitable cause.

Damien McAnespie, Area Fundraising Manager for Air Ambulance NI, conveyed sincere gratitude, stating,

“We are delighted and immensely grateful for the generous contributions from AG. Their steadfast support has been instrumental in ensuring our life-saving operations remain operational. In total, AG have funded the service for nearly four days, potentially saving the lives, brains, and limbs of eight individuals across Northern Ireland. As a local charity, Air Ambulance NI aspires to raise £2.5million each year to maintain and sustain this service so public donations are crucial. AG’s commitment to our cause is truly commendable, and their contributions make a significant and lasting impact on the communities we serve.”
