AG Paving and Building Products has announced another remarkable year of fundraising for Air Ambulance Northern Ireland (AANI), bringing the total raised for the charity since 2020 to an impressive £37,879.47.

AANI was chosen as AG’s charity partner for a fourth year through a company-wide poll, a tradition that ensures the whole team is involved in selecting the cause they will support each year. In 2024 alone, AG raised £10,335.58—a 20% increase on the previous year—reflecting the dedication and generosity of the company’s team, customers, and partners.

Last year’s fundraising activities included a Christmas Raffle with prizes donated by suppliers, a 160-Mile Walk Challenge in August, and a 100ft abseil down the iconic Derry Tower. Key events such as the company’s annual Corporate Golf Day and Outdoor Living Shows also played a significant role in the total raised.

Katrina Hughes Area Fundraising Manager for Air Ambulance NI, shared her appreciation, “AG’s exceptional fundraising efforts in 2024 have had a significant impact on our service, enabling us to continue delivering critical care to those in need across Northern Ireland. We are deeply grateful for their generosity. As a local charity, Air Ambulance NI relies on raising £2.5 million each year to sustain this vital service, almost £7,000 per day, making public donations absolutely essential. It has been an absolute pleasure to work with the fantastic team at AG, and on behalf of everyone at Air Ambulance NI we extend our sincere thanks to everyone who has contributed, donated, and helped raise awareness throughout this meaningful partnership.”
