Environmental Benchmarking Awards
AG has once again achieved Platinum Status in the Business in the Community (BITC) Northern Ireland Environmental Benchmarking Survey, marking the third consecutive year the company has earned the highest level of recognition for environmental performance. This top distinction was awarded to only 41 of the 150 participating organisations across Northern Ireland’s key sectors.
Occupational Health and Safety Awards
AG collected the Construction Mineral Extraction / Quarrying / Concrete Product Manufacturing Award at the Occupational Health and Safety Awards 2025.
Additionally winning the Consistent High Achiever Award. These awards are a fantastic recognition of our ongoing commitment to creating and maintaining a safe, positive and responsible working environment for all our people.
Responsible Business Awards
AG collected the Responsible Product Award for our Woodward Facing Brick, at the 2025 Responsible Business Awards with Business in the Community.
Woodward is our facing brick that combines sustainability, durability, and design. Manufactured with a significantly reduced carbon footprint, helping deliver a more responsible construction solution.
Irish News Workplace and Employment Awards
AG have been awarded Best Sustainable Business Award (SME) at the Irish News Workplace and Employment Awards.
We are delighted to be recognised for all the commitment shown by our team to reduce embodied carbon and make construction more sustainable.
Belfast Telegraph Business Award
AG has won the Excellence in Workplace Health and Wellbeing award at the 2025 Belfast Telegraph Business Awards.
This award recognises the effort and commitment across AG to support the physical and mental wellbeing of our people, from initiatives like Acti8 to day-to-day support, it’s something we all play a part in.
BITC Environmental Bench Marketing Survey
AG have been recognised for its Environmental Excellence with back to back platinum status.
This prestigious survey recognises companies that excel in minimising their environmental impact and highlights those who successfully embed sustainable practices into their corporate strategies, driving meaningful environmental improvements year after year.
Among 132 organisations from various sectors across Northern Ireland that participated in the survey, the company reported a notable 47.8% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions from its 2019 baseline—achieved despite the introduction of extended operational hours and the construction of a new £3 million factory to meet rising product demand.
MPA Health & Safety Awards
AG has been recognised for its outstanding health and safety commitment by winning three top honours at the 2024 MPA Health and Safety Awards.

Green Exporter of the Year
AG has been awarded the Green Exporter of the Year accolade at the 2024 All-Ireland Sustainability Awards.
This achievement further reinforces AG’s position as a leader in sustainable construction, building on its earlier recognition as Sustainable Manufacturing Business of the Year at the 2024 Business Eye Sustainability Awards.
Wellbeing at Work
AG is delighted to announce its success at the 2024 Business in the Community NI Responsible Business Awards, where we proudly received the Wellbeing at Work Award. This esteemed accolade recognises our ongoing commitment to fostering a healthy, supportive, and inclusive workplace through our pioneering Activ8 Health + Wellbeing Programme.

Business Eye Sustainability Awards
AG as been honoured for its strides in sustainability after being crowned Manufacturing Business of the Year at the prestigious Business Eye Sustainability Awards.

NI Environmental Benchmarking Survey
AG has reinforced its position as a market leader in sustainable construction by achieving Platinum status, the highest accolade available, in the 2023 and 2024 Northern Ireland Environmental Benchmarking Survey, organised by Business in the Community (BITC).
Recognising companies that go above and beyond to reduce their environmental impact, the survey benchmarks companies that drive change through integrating sustainable practices into corporate strategies.
In addition to this the company have recently gained level 3 in the “Take 5” workplace wellbeing accreditation, recognition for their longstanding commitment improving both physical and psychological safety.
Fermanagh Herald Awards
The first accolade was being Highly Commended in for its Sustainability Strategy and winning the Contribution to the Community award at the Fermanagh Herald Business Awards. The awards celebrate initiative, ingenuity and a determination to succeed.
AG was recognised at the ceremony for its support of local charities and community groups with the company donating tens of thousands to worthy causes in recent years.

The creation of our latest innovative flagstone ‘Fiamma’ has combined chemical science and the latest technological equipment to provide an enhanced product that will create sales growth and become the normal specification of the future. Fiamma is an industry first and the most technologically advanced product produced by AG to date and has been engineered to replicate the surface of natural flamed granite and to provide high levels of slip resistance

ROSPA Health & Safety Awards
We are delighted to be announced as 2022 RoSPA Award Winners!
The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Awards Adjudication Panel have awarded AG the RoSPA Bronze Award for Health and Safety Performance.
Organisations receiving a RoSPA Award are recognised as being world-leaders in health and safety practice. Every year, nearly 2,000 entrants vie for this accolade in what is the UK’s longest-running H&S industry awards.
To receive this internationally recognised award is a credit to all AG team members and the work and commitment put in everyday to #gohomesafe.
KTP Future Leader Award
AG would like to congratulate Catherine Campbell on her outstanding contribution to AG, which has led to Catherine securing the 2022 KTP Future Leader Award.
Catherine is an Associate Engineer at AG Paving and Building Products working to develop a new range of concrete paving stones. Using surface treatments and additives to improve performance and appearance, Catherine is working towards using these materials to reduce urban heat islands.
The Future Leader award is reserved for Associates who have shown exceptional skills, above and beyond the normal expectations of a KTP Associate. Thank you to the QUB Knowledge Transfer Partnership, who Catherine and AG have worked closely with over the past three years.
Plant & Civil Engineering Awards
R&D Innovation of the Year
We are delighted to have been recognised at the recent Annual Plant and Civil Engineer Awards, for our research and development strategy which has led to an industry first.
Stephen Acheson, CEO of AG Paving and Building Products picked up the ‘R&D Innovation of the Year’ award, sponsored by the Momentum Group – R&D Tax Credits | Capital Allowances | Land Remediation Relief.

AIB Business Eye Awards 2022
AG are extremely proud to have received the ‘highly commended’ award, in the Manufacturer of the Year category at the 2022 AIB Business Eye Awards.
The 2022 AIB Business Eye Awards, covering 19 different categories, were awarded at a black-tie event attended by almost 600 guests held at ICC, Belfast.
AG Achieves Bronze in the Northern Ireland Environmental Benchmarking Survey
We are also pleased to announce that AG Paving and Building Products has achieved Bronze Level in the 2022 Northern Ireland Environmental Benchmarking Survey. The NI Environmental Benchmarking Survey is organised by responsible business network Business in the Community (BITC). It is an annual event that scores organisations on the measures they take to improve their environmental impacts Over 100 organisations from a range of different sectors measured and reported their environmental impacts.
AG Wins at AG Construction Marketing Awards
AG has been commended for its marketing efforts at this year’s prestigious Construction Marketing Awards.
The innovative specialist building products company won the Best Branding and Positioning Campaign for AG’s latest ground-breaking brand, Enduur.
Enduur is the most advanced concrete technology ever created by AG, delivering an impressive range of product enhancements, from increased strength, durability, and UV resistance to a lower carbon footprint and advanced hydrophobic performance.
Led by Head of Marketing Ross Telford, the team launched an integrated campaign across digital and traditional media including innovative, sharply focused content aimed to showcase the unique benefits of Enduur.
