Hours of work: 40 hours per week
(including 1 day in college)
Main Purpose
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To work with the maintenance team to carry out maintenance tasks as required.
KEY DUTIES
- Carry out maintenance tasks (Mechanical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Electrical & Electronic) as required.
- Work with the maintenance team to reduce downtime.
- Ensure adherence to company routine and preventative maintenance (PM) programs.
- Help to ensure adequate stocks of spares and lubricants
- Be aware of associated costs of production and endeavour to reduce where possible.
- Participate in Lean improvement projects.
- Record and report maintenance issues to Supervisor.
- Ensure place of work is clean and tidy at all times.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety procedures.
- Any other duties commensurate with the role and within capabilities.
