Mark Toole has been with AG since early 2023 and is a Specification Consultant.
What’s your professional background and any specific expertise you bring to the team?
I have worked within the construction industry for 20 years, providing design support based on concrete and natural stone materials with guidance on British Standards to Landscape Architects and Engineers to deliver public realm improvements, commercial projects, residential schemes from early conceptual understanding.
What do you enjoy most about working in this team or in this company?
Working for a third-generation family business which has made me feel both welcome and valued has given me further motivation to ensure AG Materials become a designer’s choice. Our people within AG are extremely supportive and create a real “Can do attitude” which can only inspire people to succeed.
What would your typical day at work look like?
Incredibly no two days look the same, from arranging team training on British standards and Regulations, creating new CPD’s based on topical and educational requirements that designers may wish to understand more in depth, meeting clients to discuss material selection that meet the needs of their project vision, discussing topical events we can support at AG with the regional Landscape Institute to highlight the importance of Resilient, Inclusive and Sustainable Landscapes within the Built Environment.
