Ag Hits the Heights With Charity Abseil

Author and Teacher, David McCullough Jnr. once said “climb mountains not so the world can see you but so you can see the world”. Our CEO Raymond Acheson and Specification Consultant Aaron McKee demonstrated this by deciding to embark on a charity abseil down one of Belfast’s tallest buildings, The Europa Hotel.

The abseil was to raise funds for AG’s charity partner the NI Hospice and allowed Raymond and Aaron only a brief amount of time to enjoy the spectacular views of the city of Belfast before their descent. Those of a nervous disposition would not have been able to handle such heights, but as our live Facebook footage showed the men were never left hanging by a thread.

Aaron McKee, once safely on the ground again, was delighted to tick another item off his ‘bucket list’.

“I had never actually completed an abseil before and when I realised that there was an opportunity to take part on one, I knew I had to do it. The NI Hospice is an absolutely brilliant charity and I am delighted to raise money for this fantastic cause.”

Well done again to Raymond and Aaron. Keep checking our website and social media channels for more charity updates in the future.
