Nature Built In

AG is committed to protecting and enhancing biodiversity across its manufacturing sites — making space for nature to thrive alongside industry. From local wildlife and habitats to the geology beneath each site, AG considers, manages and safeguards the natural environment across its operations. Through best practice and greater awareness, the company continues to build a greener future, one site at a time.

Lower Carbon, Greater Progress

AG has surpassed its original target to reduce Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 30% before 2030, achieving a 57.7% reduction against its 2019 baseline. This significant progress reflects the company’s continued commitment to reducing the environmental impact of its operations, while leading with responsibility, innovation and measurable action.

AG has embedded responsible sourcing, lower-carbon operations, recycling and repurposing into the way it works. These principles are not add-ons, they are central to daily operations and drive the development of new products, smarter processes and more sustainable ways of building.

Renewable Energy

RENEWABLE ENERGY

AG is powered by 100% renewable electricity from 3T Power and by biomethane from a nearby farm, cutting carbon and supporting the community.

Smarter Processes. Less Waste.

In 2019, AG incorporated a £2 million wash plant into its operations, unlocking significant cost and efficiency savings while helping to reduce carbon levels. The investment also improved product consistency, supporting higher-quality finished products, and enabled AG to process waste materials, including discontinued lines, for recycling back into new production.

Business in the Community

Climate Action Pledge

As we continue on our sustainability journey, we remain as committed as ever to reducing our carbon emissions and cutting down on unnecessary production outputs without compromising on the quality of our finished goods.

Our Toome ‘Flagstone’ Products are accredited to BES 6001.

Having BES 6001 is a clear sign to our customers that they are working with a company which puts sustainability and traceability at the heart of its operations.
