The new £55 million Ballymena Campus consolidates the College’s provision within the town into one state-of-the-art learning and training facility, benefiting thousands of students and the wider community. Fully funded by the Department for the Economy, the project represents a significant investment in the local area.

AG supplied Woodward Facing Brick in Ashbrook Antique to the new development, delivering a durable, high-performance solution that enhances both the aesthetic and structural quality of the building. Woodward Brick offers long-lasting colour integrity, excellent weather resistance, and a timeless finish, ensuring the campus maintains its visual appeal for decades to come. Woodward Brick is fully recyclable and produced using harvested rainwater, helping to cut energy consumption, reduce costs, and minimise the campus’s environmental impact.

To complement the building’s exterior, Plaza paving in a 600×400 format was installed throughout the surrounding landscape. Plaza flagstones are designed for high-footfall areas, offering exceptional slip resistance, long-term durability, and ease of maintenance, ideal for a busy campus environment.

Northern Regional College Principal and Chief Executive, Mel Higgins, commented:

“This purpose-built facility marks a major investment in the future of education, skills development, and innovation within the region.”
