SEGMENTAL RETAINING WALL SYSTEMS (SRWS)
Topic 10 of RIBA Core Curriculum
This CPD seminar looks at concrete retaining walls and aims to provide attendees with greater awareness and depth of product knowledge for dry build segmental retaining walls.
SUSTAINABLE DRAINAGE SYSTEMS (SuDS)
Topics 6 & 10 of RIBA Core Curriculum
This seminar will aim to provide the audience with an understanding of the philosophy of SuDS with a particular focus on Concrete Block Permeable Paving and the benefits vs other available options. The CPD will also cover the fundamentals of design and the various challenges that exist with sustainable drainage.
SUSTAINABLE PAVING SOLUTIONS
Topics 6 & 10 of RIBA Core Curriculum
This seminar will provide the specifier with an understanding of how concrete paving is manufactured sustainably and how these paving products can add significant benefits to projects. The CPD will further focus on bedding systems for concrete paving (rigid and flexible) and include a brief look at permeable paving systems.
SUSTAINABLE CONCRETE FACING BRICK
This course covers the manufacturing, design and construction of concrete masonry whist ensuring compliance with the relevant regulations. This seminar will leave attendees with a greater understanding of manufacturing techniques and physical properties of concrete bricks manufactured in the UK.

STEPS FOR A BETTER BUILT ENVIROMENT
This presentation has been arranged to guide designers wishing to create steps within the built Environment , Information delivering best practice using informative details from the British Standards and Building regulations.

CPD sessions generally last between 45 and 60 minutes, including a Q&A session. Product literature is available on request to accompany the seminar.
