St Tiernach’s Park is the principal GAA stadium in Clones, County Monaghan, Ireland. With a capacity of 36,000, it is the most modern stadium used for Gaelic games in Ulster. The park hosts major Gaelic football matches, such as the Ulster Championship Final, and is home to the Monaghan Gaelic football team.

Nearly 300m² of AG’s Vertica® walling was supplied to this well-known Gaelic football stadium, located opposite the entrance gates. Commissioned for the landscape’s steep and sloping hillsides, the Vertica® walls are constructed using patented, built-in alignment locators and a near-vertical rise, resulting in less excavation and land loss.

The Anchor DiamondTM Vertica® system is designed for steep, sloping hillsides and other traditionally difficult installation areas. Vertica® walls can be built to virtually any height in incredibly tight spaces, with anti-climb rise properties to promote safety.

Designed by Geostrong Wall System to capture the beauty of natural stone, the architecturally stylish stone-cut finish in Basalt colour added character to the project and complemented the stadium grounds.
