Stanley Studios is Dundee’s newest student accommodation, situated just a 10-minute walk from all the city’s universities. This prestigious new development offers a range of amenities for students, including study spaces, a gym, games area, cinema room, private dining room, communal lounge, and a rooftop terrace.

Designed by CAG Architects, the development draws inspiration from the industrial heritage of the inner-city site. The design team selected two facing brick options from AG’s Woodward Low Carbon range—Ashbrook and Lewis Smooth. These masonry bricks offer a vibrant charm with a smooth, sharp finish.

Working within strict budget constraints, AG’s Woodward facing bricks were chosen not only for their cost-effectiveness, durability, and aesthetic appeal, but also for their reduced environmental impact compared to industry alternatives. Based on independently verified Environmental Product Declarations, the Woodward range features nearly 46% less embodied carbon per square metre compared to clay brick.
