The East Coast Social Housing Development is one of largest schemes delivered this year by Contractors John Sisks & Sons.

The new homes were built as part of a design and build contract completed by Sisk Living under tight time scales in less than 37 weeks which was assisted by the immediate availability and ease of dispatch of our Facing Brick.

AG’s Woodward Brick has proven popular with house builders and brick layers due to the introduction of a frog in the top of the brick which reduces the weight of the brick and allows it to be handled more easily. The modern facing brick was also designed specifically for improved buildability and stability making it the perfect choice for Sisks.

AG’s Specification Consultant Gareth McBrearty stated, “Sisks were looking for a commercially viable option that could deliver a high quality finish. They were tasked with sourcing a product that was both economically viable and technically competent with AG’s Woodward Facing brick ticking all the boxes.”
