Queens University Belfast have unveiled their brand-new addition to their already impressive campus thanks to AG.

For the Queens University project, AG supplied Felix O’Hare Ltd with its best-selling range of granite flagstones TerraPave® Ground in Tuscany and Sorrento with Plaza Kanel for the paving surrounding its state-of-the-art student’s union.

The 11,000-square-metre student hub replaces a dilapidated building at the centre of the University’s campus which includes the student union, lounges, bars, and spaces for events. On the second floor, student socialising spaces include one of the longest bars in Belfast, as well as a smaller venue called the Wee Bar which includes pool tables and a rooftop terrace.

Charlie Booth Regional Sales Manager at AG oversaw both of these projects and said:

“This project required different paving solutions for popular pedestrian areas. The Queen’s student union will be a busy environment, so we went for TerraPave Ground due to its lasting durability and ability to maintain its attractive appearance even after many years of heavy footfall.
